About Us

We are...

The White Current is a Syrian civil political party officially established on Sunday, April 27, 2025 by a diverse group of independent Syrian activists, professionals, and academics. The party was born out of the urgent need for a new national platform that reflects the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, justice, and dignity—away from tyranny, sectarianism, and foreign dependency.

The White Current carries a national democratic project focused on rebuilding Syria as a modern, just, and sovereign state grounded in citizenship, pluralism, and the rule of law.

  •  What We Plan to Do

  • Propose institutional and legal frameworks for rebuilding the Syrian state.
  • Organize civic initiatives and public awareness campaigns inside Syria.
  • Advocate for transitional justice and human rights.
  • Empower civil society, especially youth and women, to play an active political and economic role.
  • Connect Syrians in the diaspora with national reconstruction efforts.
  • Engage diplomatically and politically on regional and international levels.
  • Our Mission

We are committed to restoring trust in political action by organizing and empowering Syrians to take part in shaping their future—through a transparent, accountable, and inclusive political process that centers the citizen as the cornerstone of a new Syrian state.

  • Our Vision

To build a modern, democratic, united, and sovereign Syria—governed by legitimate institutions and a new social contract that guarantees rights, freedoms, justice, and sustainable development for all its citizens.
